Biscuit Cake-how to make cake with biscuits

By BINDU 3 Comments

Biscuit cake recipe with step by step instructions.

biscuit cake

This is simply easy to make with very few ingredients.you may not know when your little ones bring their friends to home.you may be wondering “what could I give them in very less time”.I’m sure this may help you.my daughter liked it very much.she ate the entire cake in just one day.and asked me to prepare this on her Potluck lunch at school.

one of my YouTube subscribers asked me “will the cake tastes like biscuits?”.to be honest, when I tried it for the first time I felt like eating soft biscuits.so I had to make some tweaks to the recipe.like adding the essence and spreading fruit crush and Choco fills as a center layer of the cake.I have used strawberry fruit crush for the filling but you can use any fruit crush or Jam available at your home.or you can simply skip this step.adding essence brings a lot of change in the taste.means it tastes exactly like the normal cake made with all-purpose flour.you can use any other biscuits of your choice.like Marie, Oreo, Hide and Seek etc.you can use Orange flavored Marie biscuits for an orange cake.I’m going try this next time.

I didn’t add eggs to the batter.but if you want you can add 2 large eggs and skip adding milk.if the cake batter seems to be hard, then you may add a little milk to adjust the consistency.you can make this cake using the steaming or baking methods.I prefer baking.but if you want use Steaming method, you need to place this cake tin in the boiling water(make sure that the bottom of tin doesn’t touch the water) and cover with a lid which has a hole for the steam to escape.cover the cake tin with an aluminium foil to prevent from the moisture(as the water may fall into the cake tin).but anyway I suggest you, to bake it for the perfect outcome.I hope you try and enjoy this recipe  :).
