Paneer Tomato korma recipe

Ingredients
  • For Masala
  • coriander seeds – 1 1/2 tbsp
  • cloves – 3
  • cinnamon – 1/2 inch
  • cardamom – 1
  • For curry
  • chopped country tomatoes – 500 grams
  • chopped onions – 3 medium
  • green chillies – 3
  • paneer cubes – 200 grams
  • butter – 30 grams
  • oil – 2 tbsp
  • salt – to taste
  • turmeric powder – a pinch
  • red chilli powder – 1 1/4 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste – 1 1/2 tsp
  • whipped yogurt – 1/2 cup
  • chopped coriander – 1/4 cup
Instructions
Preparing Masala
  1. heat a pan,add coriander seeds,cloves,cardamom,cinnamon.
  2. roast them on simmer until you feel nice flavor.
  3. transfer the ingredients to spice grinder jar and make into fine powder.keep aside.
Frying Paneer
  1. cut 200 grams of paneer into cubes.
  2. melt 15 grams of butter in a skillet.
  3. add paneer cubes and roast them all sides evenly.keep aside.
Cooking Paneer tomato korma
  1. heat oil and butter in a pan,add chopped onions,green chillies and fry until transparent.
  2. add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes.
  3. add turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder and mix well.
  4. add chopped tomatoes,mix for once,cover and cook till soft and tender.mix occasionally.
  5. add whipped yogurt ,mix and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. add masala,fried paneer,mix well and cook for 5 minutes on simmer.
  7. add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
